Young Chow is best known for being a resident DJ at the world’s biggest and most well-known Hip Hop radio station -- Hot 97. He is also a fashion trendsetter, social media influencer, and entrepreneur who recently ventured into the restaurant business and opened a local eatery in Brooklyn, New York with a Caribbean flair.
Young Chow credits his early introduction to the entertainment industry to his father, King Chow; a Soca DJ who sparked his interest in music as a toddler.
Following in his father’s footsteps, at the age of 9, Young Chow played his first party in Miami at the Ramada Hotel. By Age 11, Young Chow added international experience to his growing resume when he traveled to Africa with a steel band music instrument group.
Early in his career, Young Chow independently put together events and parties throughout New York City that quickly made him a household name and one of the most sought-after DJs in NYC. In 2009, he joined Funk Flex’s Big Dawg Pitbull Crew, and in 2010, he toured with reggae artist, Gyptian. From 2009 to the present day, Young Chow headlines arenas all over the world. In 2016, he released his first single, “Waist Gal,” produced by Ricky Blaze. Some of his recent travels include; Ghana, Japan, Haiti, St. Vincent, Trinidad and more.
